| It’s pretty ironic.
If you saw me in person and in civilian clothes, you’d probably think I was someone’s meek, Asian driver or cook. But put a uniform on me, replete with gold “Jump Wings” and a silver “Dive Bubble,” and I’m magically transformed into some mysterious, dark-hearted assassin?

Family Gatherings: Being Single at Weddings

| One of the worst situations for being single is when invited to a family gathering, and in particular a wedding. For some reason weddings seem to bring out the worst in people when it comes to pointing out the obvious, that you don’t have a partner – and of course they will give you all the reasons why you should and usually end with their clichéd trump cards namely that you’re not getting any younger, your clock is ticking and you don’t want to be left on the shelf! |
